Hierarchal Divine Liturgy & Veneration of Relics

Our parish was blessed to venerate the relics of St. George the Great-Martyr, St. Mary Magdalene, St. Barnabas the Apostle, & St. Marina the Great-Martyr. The clergy enter into the church in procession with the relics. The relics were brought to the United States by V. Rev. Fr. Dobri Ivanov, Dean of Sts. Peter & Paul Cathedral in Silistra, Bulgaria.

 The faithful come forward to receive Holy Communion.
This was the first encounter with such relics for many in attendance, especially the children. The Dismissal. Bishop IRINEU emphasizes the importance of this special occasion and thanks Fr. Ivanov for this opportunity, with the blessings of Metropolitan Ambrozie of Dorostorum.
  At the end of the Liturgy, the faithful came forward to venerate the relics and be anointed by His Grace.
 
  It was more than an hour and a half before the line of faithful came to an end.
