Palm Sunday Divine Liturgy & Fish Dinner

The traditional willow branches are blessed during the Matins service. The faithful present come forward to kiss the Holy Gospel Book and to receive a branch.
Parish Council President Radu Stingu distributed the blessed willow branches to people as they entered the church. His Grace, Bishop IRINEU joined us in celebrating this Feast Day. His Grace censing the iconostas.
"Lord, Lord, look down from heaven..." The cantors read the Epistle. The Great Entrance.
"May the Lord God remember those who are fallen asleep in the Lord..." The Consecration of the Gifts. The faithful come forward to receive Holy Communion.
The Litany of Thanksgiving. The kitchen crew hard at work under the experienced direction of Silvia Costea & Crina Placinta.
 
A few of the servers take a photo as they wait for the next cart of food to serve. Hundreds of people remained for the Annual Fish Dinner.
