Installation of Officers Dinner
Sunday, 8 February 2009

The ladies of the parish (with help from some of the men) again prepared a delicious meal.
Head cook, Mrs. Veturia Nicula, putting the cabbage into the oven. Members of the parish Men's Club serving refreshments.
Mr. Traian Moga with his helpers, grandsons Timmy and Joey. One last photo before serving the food.
Some members of the A.R.O.Y. Chapter pause for a photo before serving the meal.
This year, appreciation plaques were presented to our long-time church cantors.  Here, Mrs. Veturia Nicula accepts on behalf of her deceased husband Constantin, who served as head cantor for over 20 years. Mrs. Pearl Jonascu accepts on behalf of her husband George, whose health prevented him from being there, for his over 20 years of service. Fr. Romey presents a plaque to Mr. Dumitru Capaţina, who is still serving as cantor after 25 years.
Mr. Radu Stingu, Parish Council president, spoke about work and needs of the parish. Mrs. Deb Moga, Ladies Auxiliary president, encouraged all ladies of the parish to join the auxiliary and be involved. Mr. Christopher Cook, A.R.O.Y. Chapter president, talks about the activities of the parish's youth organization.
Mr. John Santeiu Jr., whose family sponsored the dinner in memory of his parents, thanks the parish for their friendship over the years.
